A CONCERT to raise money for charity is taking place at Sedbergh Youth and Community Centre from 7.30pm on Friday.

There will be a selection of classic hits from the past 50 years from local singer Hunkle Vinn, and there will be a pie and peas supper.

Advance tickets cost £5 which includes food, or people can pay £5 on the door, not including food.

Money raised at the concert will go towards in-house activities at the centre, and Marie Curie.

Aanika Dhillon, community fundraiser for Marie Curie in south and west Bradford, said: “The generous support of Sedbergh Community Centre this March will help us here to care for more terminally ill patients and their families too here at the Marie Curie Bradford Hospice.

“Every day we need to raise £5,562 to keep our doors open for patients.”
