KIRKLEES Council is hosting a special event for blind or partially-sighted people to help them access support services, technology and products.
The event, which takes place on Wednesday, March 15, at Huddersfield Town Hall, gives people the chance to drop in between 10am and 3pm and check out what is on offer.
There will be representatives from major suppliers, national charities and local services, including Sight & Sound Technology, RNIB Talking Books, Cobolt Systems Ltd, Blind Veterans UK, Enhanced Vision, and British Wireless for the Blind.
The event is free to attend and provides the opportunity to explore different technologies and find out more about services available.
