Women’s Day lunch
A SPECIAL lunch is taking place in Bradford’s City Hall tomorrow to mark International Women’s Day.
The Lady Mayoress of Bradford, Mrs Chris Reid will be hosting the lunch with guest speaker Dr Cecilia Anim, the president of the Royal College of Nursing.
Mrs Reid said: “This lunch will give people from across the city and district the chance to take part in what is now a global celebration for the achievements of women.”
Donations of toiletries are being collected and there will be a raffle in aid of the Lord Mayor’s Appeal.
