THE funeral of Shumas Fakeer, the 22-year-old man killed in a crash in Bingley last weekend, is taking place at 1.30pm tomorrow.
It is taking place at the Jamiyat Tabligh-ul-Islam mosque in Victor Street, Manningham.
Mr Fakeer, a law graduate who lived in Aireville Avenue, Frizinghall, was the passenger in an Audi RS4 which crashed into a tree and lamppost in Bradford Road, Bingley, in the early hours of Sunday, February 26.
He studied at the University of Bradford, and was working at an insurance firm in Leeds at the time of his death.
His uncle, Adil Shaan, described him as a "very loving family member" who had "not been in trouble".
The driver of the Audi, a 24-year-old man, and two other men, aged 23 and 24, who were in a VW Golf believed to be travelling in tandem with the Audi at the time of the crash, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, and released on bail.
Police inquiries are ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting the log number 317 of February 26.
