POLICE are appealing for information after £16,000 worth of baseball caps were stolen from a lorry.
A collection of 1,600 baseball caps was stolen from a lorry, which had its curtain slashed in the raid in Pennine View, Birstall.
The stolen items are dark blue First Base Hardshell Baseball caps, with a red square and writing saying 'Firstbase' which is sewn into the back. Each of the caps also features the article number 2010911 and the barcode 5039269278351.
The incident took place between 10pm on Tuesday, February 21, and 7am on Wednesday, February 22.
Anyone who has any further information, or may have been offered one of the caps to buy, is urged to call West Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting reference 13170083954, or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
