YOUNGSTERS have been urged to sign up for the Young Person’s Advisory Group.
Mark Burns-Williamson, the West Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner, is looking for people aged between 13 and 21 to sign up.
The group will give young people a more active say about how they are policed in the region.
Its members will also offer opportunities to take part in new schemes and enhance relationships between youngsters and the police.
Participants will be expected to contribute their time to the group and share their personal knowledge and experience of community issues within the group.
For more information, or to sign up, go to westyorkshire-pcc.gov.uk/get-involved/youth-advisory-group.aspx.
Alternatively call 01924 294000.
