POLICE are appealing for information after a woman was found with serious injuries in the road.

The woman, in her thirties, was found collapsed with serious injuries to her head and legs at the junction of Water Lane and Paradise Street at around 8.50am on Friday, February 24.

She was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary where she received urgent medical treatment, and is currently in a critical condition at Leeds General Infirmary.

Three arrests have been made in connection with the incident, and all three have been bailed pending further enquiries.

Detective Inspector Matthew Walker, of Bradford CID, said: "We are appealing for information about this incident which has left a woman with very serious injuries.

"In particular, we are hoping to speak to the driver of a red transit-style van which stopped near to the scene, as he may have vital information about this incident to assist with our enquiries."
