A LARGE section of North Street in Keighley is closed today as work continues on demolishing the former college building.

Teams moved in at about 8am to begin the latest stage of bulldozing the four-storey structure.

North Street is closed to traffic from the roundabout at its junction with High Street to its junction with Alice Street.

The top end of Cavendish Street and parts of Lord Street, Russell Street, Devonshire Street and Albert Street are also shut.

The closures will be in force until 6pm.
