SEVEN householders in Queensbury have scooped prizes of £1,000 each thanks to the People’s Postcode Lottery (PPL)
Residents on Coniston Avenue, who play with the postcode BD13 2JD, each won the daily prize on Thursday.
A minimum of 30 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities, and players of the PPL have raised more than £175 million to date for good causes across Great Britain and internationally.
One Bradford organisation to benefit is the Bierley Community Association, which was awarded £20,000 last year for a community minibus to provide a variety of services to those who may otherwise be isolated and struggle to leave their homes.
PPL ambassador, Judie McCourt, said: “What a great prize for our players in Queensbury. It’s easy to play, just sign up now and your postcode is your ticket.”
