A FAMILY has put up a £200 reward for the safe return of their rare breed cat which went missing from their Fairweather Green home four days ago.

Princess, a four-year-old Sphynx blue torbie point, is recognisable with her hairless body and large pointed ears. She has large, almond-shaped golden eyes.

Owner Stacey Fletcher, of Gilynda Close, said: "She is a friendly house cat and rarely goes outside. Because she has no fur she keeps away from the cold. We think someone has opened a window and taken her because she wouldn't have gone outside in the weather we had last weekend. She disappeared at around 4.30pm or 5pm on Saturday, February 11.

"We are beside ourselves with worry and have put posters up everywhere. Neighbours and the local school have been searching for her. Hopefully she is safe and warm and that whoever has her will realise she is not lost and return her to a police station or vets.

"She is microchipped so she can be traced to us. Details of her have been shared thousands of times on social media but up to now there has been absolutely no sighting of her which makes us think she has been stolen.

"We're willing to pay the reward because we want her back safely."
