POLICE are hunting the driver of a car who failed to stop after colliding with a five-year-old girl in Bradford.
The child suffered a minor leg injury in the collision, which happened at the junction of Harbour Road and Verdun Road, Buttershaw, at 7.05pm on February 8. The girl was crossing the road at the time.
The vehicle, which is described as being a Volkswagen car, possibly a Passat, struck a pushchair carrying a baby boy as it turned right into Verdun Road.
The baby was uninjured, but a five-year-old girl who was also crossing the road at the time suffered a minor leg injury.
Anyone who may have seen a similar vehicle in the area at the time is asked to contact the Safer Roads and Neighbourhood Support team on 101, quoting log number 1387 of February 8.
