POLICE are looking for volunteers to be part of an independent advisory group that helps officers understand local issues such as knife crime, anti-social behaviour and the impact of major investigations.
West Yorkshire Police’s Protective Services (Operations) department is recruiting for a local and Independent Advisory Group (IAG) to help develop better understanding of the area by questioning force practices in a constructive way.
District Commander Chief Superintendent Tim Kingsman said: “The formulation of an Independent Advisory Group for Protective Services Operations is an opportunity for the people of West Yorkshire to put themselves forward to be the ‘critical friend’ of the organisation.”
Anyone interested can contact christopher.norbury@westyorkshire.pnn.police.uk before March 20.
