A FOOTBALL match to celebrate LGBT History Month which is currently taking place in Bradford is kicking off at 12.10pm on Sunday.
The charity game, which will feature a number of celebrities, is taking place on the University of Bradford’s 3G football pitch in Laisteridge Lane.
It will be officially started by the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Geoff Reid, who will kick off the game.
It has been organised in co-operation between Bradford Council, the charity Just a Ball Game, and Bradford City LGBT Fan Group.
Some of the famous faces lacing up their boots include Liam Bairstow from Coronation Street and This is England actors Andy Ellis and Keiran Hardcastle.
A number of actors from BBC war drama Our Girl are also playing, along with radio duo Tom & Dom, and former football professionals Dennis Hill, formerly of Burnley, and former Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest midfielder Craig Armstrong.
