PLACES are available for a lunch held in Bradford to mark International Women’s Day.
The event will be held on Wednesday, March 8, between 12.30pm and 3pm, at the Banqueting Hall, City Hall, Bradford.
The Lord Mayor’s Appeal: International Women’s Day Lunch will be hosted by the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Geoff Reid.
Guest speaker at the event will be Dr Cecilia Anim, president of the Royal College of Nursing.
Proceeds from the lunch will go to YoungMinds, the UK’s leading charity committed to improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people.
International Women’s Day is celebrated on March 8 each year.
