A WOMAN will have to be temporarily re-homed following a fire at her flat in Windhill.
Crews from Shipley and Idle Fire Stations were called to a blaze in the bedroom of a one-bedroom ground floor flat at Northcliffe View, Crag Road, at 9am today.
The bedroom of the flat was severely smoke damaged in the incident, which triggered its fire alarms.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
No-one was in the flat at the time of the fire.
Watch commander Chris Hargreaves, of Shipley Fire Station, said: “It was very fortunate that the occupant was not in the flat at the time of the fire.
“The bedroom was severely smoke damaged.”
