TRAINING at the Bulls was stopped this morning after players were informed the club could face liquidation if no buyer is found by the end of the week.

The financially-stricken Championship club are now in their fifth week of administration and speculation they could fold has become a realistic possibility.

It is understood that today is the first time the players had been informed about the serious threat of liquidation.

Coach Rohan Smith did not wish to comment but is believed to be as shocked at the sudden turn of events as his players.

Joint administrator Gary Pettit has claimed there were four serious bidders keen to buy the club, though Bradford Park Avenue owner Gareth Roberts' interest has ended.

The Bulls debts are thought to be well over £1million and they have had their RFL membership withdrawn.
