POLICE want to speak to this man after a passenger and staff were assaulted at a Bradford rail station.
British Transport Police is investigating after a man hurled racial abuse at a member of staff at Bradford Forster Square station.
He entered the station and hit a member of the public, then remained in an area where station staff were carrying out ticket checks before assaulting and racially abusing one of them.
Officers would like to speak to the man in this CCTV image as they believe he may have information about the incident.
PC Mark Dove, investigating the incident, appealed for any witnesses to come forward with any information about the assault.
He said: “This was a completely unprovoked attack on both a passenger and a member of staff who was simply doing his job.
“It’s vital that we trace the person responsible.”
The incident took place just after 5.15pm on Monday, August 10, at the city centre station.
Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016, quoting log number 165 of 24/10/2016.
