A FIVE-year-old girl suffered serious leg injuries after she was in collision with a private hire van in Bradford.
Police said the child was taken to Leeds General Infirmary for treatment to a "crush injury and a serious fracture to her leg".
A police spokesman said the girl's injuries were not life-threatening.
The incident involved a green Mercedes Vito vehicle and happened on Carr Bottom Road, Bankfoot, at just after 5.30pm on Saturday.
The Vito driver, a 49-year-old man, has been spoken to by police officers.
The police spokesman said the driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene, and added: "It looks like a tragic accident."
Any witnesses to collision or movements of vehicle/girl prior to the incident is urged to call police on 101, quoting log 1267 of October 22.
