A UNIQUE film festival that started earlier this year has put out a call for venues to host screenings at next year’s event.

The first Drunken Film Festival saw independent short films from directors from around the world screened in pubs, cafes and clubs in the city centre in July.

Plans are now underway for next year’s event, and Jax Griffin, event organiser, has asked for any venues that want to be part of the festival to come forward.

Venues involved in screenings at the inaugural event included the Record Cafe, the Library Bar in Glyde House, Delius Bar, and Theatre in the Mill at the University of Bradford. and film discussions were held at the Brew Haus and Forks Cafe.

Venues such as bars, coffee shops, theatres, shisha lounges and restaurants that want to host screenings can email info@drunkenfilmfest.com.

Film makers will be able to submit their work from February.
