Three men arrested in connection with a stabbing in Tong yesterday have been bailed for further police investigtions.

The 19-year-old, who police described as Asian, suffered injuries to his left leg and a hand.

Police were called at 12.10am on Tuesday to reports of a man being stabbed and found the victim in Halesworth Crescent, Tong.

He told officers there had been an incident at a property in Holme Lane, where other people were present.

He was taken to hospital, where his condition is currently described as stable.

Three men aged 30, 39 and 41 were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.

All three have since been bailed, said a police spokesman.
