A BAR celebrated all things gothic and steampunk at an eye-catching fair.
The Brew Haus and Stein Bierkeller, in Great Horton Road, hosted the event, billed as ‘putting the alternative scene back into Bradford’.
Visitors dressed to impress in a host of dark-themed outfits.
Activities included poetry readings, an open-mic music session and contests in the lesser-known sport of ‘tea-duelling’, in which participants have to eat a dunked biscuit in the most graceful way while losing as few crumbs as possible.
There were also more than 20 stalls spread over three floors offering alternative jewellery, clothing, music, homewares and more.
The event raised money for Yorkshire’s Martin House Children’s Hospice and the Sophie Lancaster Foundation, which was set up in the memory of a 20-year-old woman who was wearing gothic clothing when she was attacked in 2007.
