Police and forensic teams are today combing an industrial unit in Bradford where a cannabis farm and suspect stolen car parts have been found.

The discoveries have been made at the cordon site by detectives investigating the theft of a high-value car.

Officers were first called called to Chapel Green Works, in Centre Street, off Little Horton Lane, Little Horton, on Thursday when car theft victim Hassan Liaquat tracked his stolen £40,000 Mercedes-Benz C250 there using a tracker app on his mobile phone.

Today, several parts of the industrial unit are taped off, including a caravan, and forensic teams have been arriving thorughout the afternoon.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police this afternoon said: "A search of the building has recovered parts from other vehicles which are believed to have been stolen.

"A cannabis factory has also been discovered.

"Enquiries are continuing to establish the origins of the vehicle parts and who has been using the building.

"Three men aged 33, 38 and 39 have been arrested on suspicion of several offences including the burglary.

"Two were released on bail pending further enquiries and one was released without charge.
