A 24-YEAR-OLD man from Bradford was arrested in a pub tonight on suspicion of possession of a shotgun with intent to cause fear of violence.
The man was arrested by armed police officers at the Flappit pub, Flappit Springs, Cullingworth, at 7pm.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said the man was not in possession of a firearm at the time of his arrest but was identified by officers.
Aiden Field, a member of bar staff at the Flappit, said: "It took me by surprise.
"It was quite bizarre. I served him a drink and the police sent a dog in first.
"There were lots of police vans outside. There were around eight armed police outside. They had it controlled."
