A PREGNANT woman is believed to have been seriously injured after three cars collided in Brighouse.
She was in one of the vehicles that crashed in Cromwell Bottom, on Elland Road, at about 6.45pm today.
A fire service spokesman said the woman had told emergency services that she was pregnant. She and a man were taken to Leeds General Infirmary for treatment.
A spokesman for Yorkshire Ambulance Service said two people were taken to Leeds General Infirmary and were thought to be suffering from serious injuries.
A third injured person was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary. Her injuries were not believed to be as serious, said the spokesman.
Fire crews from Rastrick and Halifax stations freed two trapped people.
