Tinkering on the towpath, Tony Farrer works on bikes on the canal side in Shipley
CHAINS, brakes, gears and tyres all got the once-over at a free bicycle health check held in Shipley today as Incommunities teamed up with local community cycle project The Bikery.
The Big Bike Revival took place on the canal towpath at The Quays where experts replaced brake blocks, advised on maintenance and held a puncture repair workshop. Anthony Thomson from The Bikery said: “We want people young and old to get cycling and moving again.”
