POLICE have thanked a motorist who stopped to help a woman with dementia in Silsden.
According to a spokesman for West Yorkshire Police the incident happened last Sunday. (July 24)
He added: "A woman with dementia was walking in the middle of the road in Silsden, and a lovely passing motorist stopped to help her and rang the police.
"PC Moss attended, looked after the woman and took her back to her home address. Thanks to this motorist the woman was unharmed and is now safely back at home."
