A DRIVER who overtook stationary cars and jumped a red traffic light in Bradford showed a “total lack of respect for other road users”.

The motorist, in a Ford Fiesta, drove through the red light and across a junction on Great Horton Road, where it meets Moore Avenue, at Horton Bank Bottom.

The incident was captured on the dash-camera of another driver who was waiting at the traffic lights.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: “It’s good quality evidence and not only shows the driver committing a blatant red light offence, but also elements of dangerous driving. It shows a total lack of respect for other road users, putting themselves and everyone else in the immediate area in danger.

“We will seek to make enquiries to trace the driver of that car with a view to ensuring they are prosecuted and dealt with accordingly. We encourage the public to submit evidence such as this.”
