A risk of subsidence has closed the road in both directions
MAJOR disruption continues along Oxford Road, in Gomersal, following a burst water main on Monday evening.
The A651 Oxford Road is closed both ways closed due to burst water main between Grove Lane and Bleak Street. The burst is situated in the middle of a four-way junction and has damaged the carriageway.
Also affected is the A643 Church Lane both ways between A651 Oxford Road and Craven Drive and A643 Spen Lane both ways between A651 Oxford Road and Pollard Avenue.
Buses on route 222 are diverting via Listing Lane. There is currently no estimate as to when the road will re-open.
