FORMER Bradford City midfieldman David Syers was in the Guiseley side which lost 4-3 to a Leeds United XI at Nethermoor last night after squandering a three-goal lead.
The Lions went 3-0 up in the first 23 minutes with goals by Ash Palmer, Jake Lawlor and Jordan Preston.
Leeds cut the deficit just before half-time with a goal by Eioghan Stokes and scored again after 63 minutes through Jordan Botaka.
The Championship side were dominating the second half and scored twice in a minute to go ahead with strikes by Kelvin Phillips (72) and Souleman Doukara (73).
Will Hatfield missed a late chance to equalise.
