CITY'S ground has been renamed the Northern Commercials Stadium at Valley Parade following a three-year deal with the commercial vehicle retailer.

The company, which has six dealerships across the country including in Brighouse, already sponsor the Midland Road stand.

Bantams chief operating officer James Mason said: "Having such a high profile brand as Northern Commercials associated with the club is another feather in our cap and shows that big businesses trust our brand.

"Many fans will be familiar with the name Northern Commercials as a stand sponsor so this new improved agreement illustrates that commercially and operationally we are doing something right.

"We are delighted with the deal and really appreciate the support Northern Commercials give to a number of sports clubs in the region. They really do give back to the communities they are based in. Many of their staff are Bradford City fans and we hope their brand can grow with ours over the next few years."

Roger Peel, managing director of Northern Commercials, added: "We are already a proud sponsor of Bradford City and other sports organisations throughout the North of England as we understand the value of aligning ourselves with positive sporting brands.

"Bradford City have proved they are at the heart of the Bradford community and as a business they are trailblazers in the market place with their low-priced season ticket policy.

"We acknowledge that and look forward to working with their fans to grow our business operation in and around the city. It's a win-win for both parties."
