BURLEY guiding leaders and 1st Burley Guides were a fantastic help to Sue and Gordon Vint last weekend as they opened their garden to help raise money for the new Burley Scout and Guide headquarters.
Sue said: "It was a glorious day to stroll round, relax and enjoy afternoon teas by the stream and pond in the garden.
"The Guides were kept very busy all afternoon selling cakes, plants and crafts. We were thrilled so many people came to visit and we made a substantial amount for the Scouts and Guides. Thank you to all who came."
The day raised £1,414 for the proposed new Burley Scout and Guide Group headquarters.
