STAFF at Cleckheaton's Tesco supermarket joined the fight against cancer by taking part in the Cancer Research Race for Life.
The group of women, who work together at the Cleckheaton store, raised £1,300 to help more men, women and children survive disease.
The team was made up of several members of staff who volunteered their time to bag pack on the Saturday before completing the 5k run in Huddersfield on Sunday, July 10.
Cancer Research UK'S Race For Life in partnership with Tesco is a women-only series of 5k, 10k, pretty muddy and marathon events which raise millions of pounds every year to help beat cancer sooner by funding life-saving research.
Race For Life , which is being sponsored by Tesco for the 15th year , is non competitive and is a great way to celebrate life but also remember those who have been lost to the disease.
