THREE men on a charity walk in aid of a bereaved parents charity have paid a visit to Bradford's hospitals.

Phil Barker, Paul Taft and Mark Deleon stopped off at St Luke's Hospital and Bradford Royal Infirmary, to drop off memory boxes to grieving parents.

The three men are doing the walk in aid of the 4Louis charity, and set off from the Forget Me Not Hospice in Huddersfield on Thursday, June 23, on a 175 mile, ten day trek to Sunderland.

The memory boxes were given to bereaved parents, who have experienced still births and neonatal deaths, or have lost young children.

Phil Barker has been taking part in the walks for the past six years, and will be doing the walk in memory of his niece, who died in 2009 at 12 days old.

He said: "On this walk I will break my 1,000 mile mark in walking for the charity.

"Memory boxes are so important for bereaved parents to help them remember their children's short lives.

"Hopefully we can raise a good amount of money for 4Louis to help give more bereaved parents help in their time of need."
