A MAN has appeared in court, charged with wounding a 58-year-old man who suffered serious head injuries in an incident in Bingley.

The injured man, who is from Bingley, is thought to have hit his head on the road during the incident, which happened in Myrtle Place shortly before midnight last Wednesday night. He is being treated at Leeds General Infirmary and is in a stable condition.

Nathan Snowden, 24, of Roydhouse Grove, Keighley, has been charged with unlawful wounding and appeared before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court on Saturday. He was remanded in custody to appear at Bradford Crown Court next month.
