SHARON LAWS enjoyed one of her best results since joining Dame Sarah Storey’s Podium Ambition team for 2016 when finishing third in the Elite Women’s race at the Alpentour Trophy in Austria.
It was the 18th running of one of the most notable UCI stage races in Europe and attracted an international field of cyclists.
Sharon, the former national road race champion from Bourton-on-the-Water, was beaten in the overall general classification only by home racer Christina Kollman and Karen Brouwer of the Netherlands.
