FOUR local acts are celebrating after winning a place on stage at this year's Bingley Music Live festival (pictured).
Sleepy Jake and the Duvets, Pusher, Vanessa Maria, and As Sirens Fall will perform at the popular Myrtle Park event in September.
They were chosen from eight finalists in the Emerging Talent contest held on Friday at The Exchange Music and Arts Venue, Russell Street, Keighley. The overall competition comprised of 24 acts over four heats, before being whittled down to the final eight.
Michael Whatmough, manager of The Exchange, said: "It was busy, really good and with really good bands. It was a shame to have to pick some winners.
"They all deserved it really, but they had to choose a winner.
"It has been a really good competition."
Two of the winners will play on the Main Stage over the weekend and the other two will appear on the Discovery Stage.
Mr Whatmough said: "I think they will do themselves justice. They are all good acts and all have got good stage presence."
