One lane was closed after a crash on the M62 today
A DRIVER was injured after his car was in a crash with a lorry on the M62 today.
The collision happened on the westbound carriageway between junction 27 (Birstall) and junction 26 (Chain Bar) at about 6.25pm.
Police said the man, who was in a Peugeot 308, was complaining of back pain but declined an ambulance.
Highways England said one lane of the carriageway was closed as a result of the crash, but that normal traffic conditions could be expected by about 7.30pm.
