FIREFIGHTERS cleaned up for charity with a fundraising car wash.
The Blue Watch crew, based at Idle station on Highfield Road, went the extra mile to raise £234 for the Firefighters Charity, which supports serving and retired firefighters and their families.
The crew washed cars between 10am and 4pm yesterday.
