EASTBURN parents have been warned to stop endangering their children’s lives by using a village car park.
Business owners in Eastburn Mill Yard have reported ‘near misses’ while children are being dropped off or collected from nearby Eastburn Junior and Infant School, in Green Close, Eastburn, Keighley.
The school newsletter warns parents not to use the mill yard as a dropping off or collection point.
It states: “There is no permission for public use of this area. Community police have been informed and will be on patrol at school start and finish times.
“If you have been bringing your cars into this area without permission, please stop before a child is injured or worse!”
The school has also reminded parents not to block driveways Green Close or part in the school car park without permission.
