BRADFORD'S fostering service is looking for new foster carers, particularly those able to look after older children and teenagers.

The Fostering and Adoption Service at Bradford Council is urging people to consider offering a safe and stable home for some of Bradford’s most vulnerable children and young people.

It is looking for full-time and part-time foster carers who can look after older children and teenagers, brothers and sisters who need to stay together and children with disabilities, particularly autism and other learning disabilities.

They are also looking for carers able to offer part-time short break care at weekends and during holidays.

To help people find out whether fostering or adoption is right for them, the service is hosting regular monthly information sessions at their new headquarters, Sir Henry Mitchell House, in Bradford city centre.

The sessions are held on the third Wednesday of every month from 6pm to 8pm. The next meeting will be held this Wednesday.

People interested in attending should call 01274 434331 to book their place.
