A car being stored in a locked yard in Bradford was destroyed in a suspected arson attack this morning.
Fire crews from Fairweather Green were called to the incident at a compound on the junction of Legrams Lane and Cottam Avenue at around 4am.
A spokesman for the crew said the car had no visible identification left, but was believed to be a Volkswagen Golf.
It is thought it was being kept in the yard to be used for parts.
He said the car had been "completely burnt out", with the fire thought to have been started deliberately.
Police have been informed.
