BRADFORD City players and and well-wishers have gathered for the funeral of club co-chairman Mark Lawn's wife Yvonne.
Mourners, many wearing purple, arrived at Bradford Cathedral for the service, which will be followed by a private cremation.
Mrs Lawn, 53, was diagnosed with bowel cancer three-and-a-half years ago and died on Monday, February 1.
Mr Lawn gave an emotional eulogy at the service.
He said: "She was my soulmate and made me believe that there is an afterlife.
"Yvonne loved her children and even more so, her grandchildren."
Guests from the football world, including Peterborough United director of football Barry Fry, attended the service.
Hymns at the service included Amazing Grace and Abide with Me.
The grandmother-of-five died at the family home in Oakworth, near Keighley.
A collection is being held for Manorlands Hospice in Oxenhope.
