A TEENAGER is being held on suspicion of firearms offences after a sawn off shotgun was found at a house today.
The discovery was made by police after officers detained two men on suspicion of drugs offences following a vehicle stop in Bradford Moor, Bradford, in the early hours.
A police spokesman said the men were in a green Ford Focus which was stopped by officers at 12.56am in Spindle Close.
The driver, a 19-year-old man from Birkenshaw, was found to have no licence, so the vehicle was seized.
Searches of the driver and passenger, a 28-year-old man from Bradford, revealed quantities of cannabis and what were believed to be Class A drugs.
Both men were arrested on suspicion of drugs offences.
The 19-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of a firearms offence after officers recovered what was believed to be a sawn off shotgun from his home address.
The men remain in custody and inquiries are continuing.
