POWER has been restored to more than 1,600 premises in Bradford after a power cut tonight.
The Northern Powergrid received reports of the power cut in the BD2 and BD3 postcode areas of Bradford, including Undercliffe, at just after 5.30pm. Power was restored at 6.20pm.
A Northern Powergrid spokesman confirmed the power cut had affected 1,645 of its customers in the area and engineers established it was due to an underground fault.
The power cut also affected residents, traffic lights and street lighting around the Killinghall Road area.
Traffic light were out on the junction of Killinghall Road, Harrogate Road, Dudley Hill Road and Otley Road.
The lights at the junction on Northcote Road and Otley Road were also affected.
