Firefighters tackled a blaze at a tyre dealership in Cleckheaton
ARSONISTS set fire to a portable cabin at a tyre dealer in Cleckheaton last night.
Firefighters said paper and cardboard were stuffed underneath a cabin at Mr Tyres, on Foundry Terrace, before being set alight with an accelerant at about 10.40pm.
A spokesman for Cleckheaton fire station said crews managed to put out the blaze before it caused any serious damage.
"We got there just in time," said the spokesman. "It was detached from the Mr Tyres building but close enough, if it had gone up, to have spread and caused some damage."
