A 34-YEAR-OLD man caught with pornography involving a horse and a woman on his phone thought the images were amusing, Bradford Crown Court heard.

But Gul Sehothvi was now thoroughly ashamed, his barrister Ken Green said yesterday.

Sehothvi had lost weight and been forced to move home after the police found the images on November 10 while conducting a child porn investigation.

He pleaded guilty to three offences of possession of extreme pornography.

Prosecutor Sophie Drake stressed that no indecent images of children were found on Sehothvi's phone.

The illegal pictures were of a woman engaged in sexual activity with a horse and a semi-naked woman photographed with a dog.

Mr Green said Sehothvi, of Kershaw Street, Laisterdyke, Bradford, had thought the images were "of some amusement."

"He is now thoroughly ashamed and struggling to explain himself," Mr Green said.

Sehothvi was sentenced to a 12 month community order, with 100 hours unpaid work, and a 15 day activity requirement with the probation service.

Judge Jonathan Durham Hall QC told him: "You now realise it is an offence, abuse of people, never mind animals."

He ordered that Sehothvi's phone be destroyed.
