POLICE investigating a serious crash in Bradford which left a man critically ill in hospital are re-appealing for information.

The 19-year-old Manchester man was in a black Volkswagen Golf which was travelling along Northcote Road towards Idle Road at about 12.30am on Wednesday, October 28, when it went out of control and crashed into three parked vehicles before being struck by a grey Range Rover.

A 21-year-old man, of Manningham, Bradford, who was travelling in the Golf, has since been released from hospital.

The driver of the Range Rover, a 43-year-old Bradford man, was uninjured.

West Yorkshire Police's Major Collision Enquiry Team is now leading the investigation and is asking for anyone who assisted at the scene to make contact.

Sergeant Ann Drury, said: "We have spoken to a number of witnesses in the course of this investigation, but we believe that there may be others who assisted at the scene that have not yet come forward.

"A man is seriously ill in hospital as a result of what happened, and I would like to urge anyone with information who has not yet come forward to do so, so the investigation can be progressed further."

An 18-year-old man, of Manningham, who was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, was released without charge.
