A BRADFORD-born author, who now lives in Canada, has gone back to his roots for his latest novel.
Michael Gill (pictured), 62, was born in Clayton but moved to the USA 20 years ago and now lives in Nova Scotia.
He has just released his latest book, The Whisky Affair, a mystery, suspense story which follows main character Raymond Armstrong. He is a proud Yorkshireman and there are many references to Haworth in Mr Gill's latest book, the second in the series.
Mr Armstrong also meets a man from Cullingworth in the book.
He said: "It's been hard living so far away and thank goodness I have managed to visit twice per year for all this time."
The book is available online.
