Hammer attack on Great Horton shop
DETECTIVES are hunting a man who attacked a shop door and glass counter with a hammer.
Police were called to Patson Deli, Great Horton Road, Great Horton, just before 7.50pm yesterday.
The suspect, described as Asian, about 5ft 10in and slim, is believed to have fled empty handed along Great Horton Road.
He was wearing a black hooded top with the hood up, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said no threats were made to staff and nothing was believed to have been taken.
He added that enquiries were continuing.
