RAIDERS armed with crowbars stole a till containing cash during a robbery at a petrol station shop in Liversedge.

Police today released details on the crime, which happened shortly before midnight on November 6.

Two people with their faces covered stole a till from Millbridge service station, on Bradford Road, before making off from the scene towards the Firthcliffe estate.

Detective Constable Tony Marshall, of Kirklees District CID, said: "We are keen to speak to anyone who has witnessed any part of this incident, seen anyone behaving suspiciously in the vicinity, or who has information about those involved.

"Anyone with information is asked to call Kirklees District CID via 101."
